Job Role: Senior Care Practitioner
Salary: £30,840.00 – £32,880.00
Shifts pattern: 2 on 4 off including sleep ins
Start Date – ASAP
Requirements:
- QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in residential childcare

We work with DDP consultants and ensure our team have the training and resources they need to embed this model into everyday working.

We are seeking to appoint Senior Care Practitioners who ideally have QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, with 2 years residential children’s home experience.
This role is a permanent, full time post. Working on shifts throughout the month which will include shift patterns of 2 on 4 days off, to ideally work with your own life balance. These days will include sleep in shifts.

Main Duties:
- To actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children/young people and ensure all care practitioners do the same
- To ensure the ongoing assessment of children and young people’s needs in day to day practice.
- Support with tasks within the home such as quality assurance and regulatory visits.
- Actively promote structure, boundaries and routines within a safe and nurturing environment, being aware of the two hands of parenting.
- Take responsibility for the effective and efficient running of shifts including the planning and facilitation of activities, daily tasks and health and safety checks.
- Ensure effective service delivery in line with the policies and procedures of the Home and the Company.
- To work in accordance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and other statutory guidance#
Experience:
- Residential childcare: 1 year (required)
License/Certification:
- Driving License (required)
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) (required)
